I see cars in a different way: as forms of art. For me, a car is not a means of transport, but a fine art object capable of providing strong emotions.

“My passion for automobiles with history began in my cradle!” My grandfather was already a car guy. After my first trips as a passenger in his Alfa Romeo GTV6 Grand Prix, with Giuseppe Busso’s legendary V6, my passion was awakened. So it happened that at a young age I found myself eager to know everything about the car market. Later, I discovered exciting cars with my father from time to time and had the privilege to take part in classic car events with him as a co-pilot. I was fascinated over and over again by the petrol conversations, the passion and the warmth I felt in my heart the moment I saw a unique automobile!
I came into contact with art at an early age because I grew up in a family of artists. Everything revolved around the art of painting. My great-great-grandfather Cuno Amiet is one of the best Swiss artists, along with Hodler and Giacometti, and my grandfather, a former student of Cuno Amiet, has become one of the best painters in the region. The “Amiet Kunstplatz Oschwand” is a project I’m deeply involved in with my family.
